The perks of interviewing business-owners became evident on Friday when I was joined by the owners of two fantastic food businesses, as guests on my radio show – and both brought delicious cake!
Jane Stammers of Tipple Tales is a passionate baker extraordinaire of yummy rich, moist cakes bursting with fruit and nuts and laced with unusual, award-winning, locally-made liqueurs for a delicious treat.
Jane’s cakes are made with lovely ingredients from local, passionate producers and long standing local and family businesses.
Charleh Dickinson runs Designed2Eat, an online food shop that sells Paleo, Vegan, Coeliac and Diabetics friendly natural cakes that are perfect for on the go, family parties or big occasions.
Charleh’s products are free from: grains (wheat and gluten), sugar, soya, dairy, legumes, and processed chemicals.
Jane and Charleh both brought some tasty treats (Jane’s fruitcake and Charleh’s brownie) for us to enjoy whilst we talked about their food businesses – both providing lots of valuable tips about running their growing and successful businesses that entrepreneurs (whether in food related businesses and startups or not) will find helpful.
And I can vouch for the fact that Jane’s moist, rich fruitcake, and Charleh’s natural fudge brownie are both absolutely delicious!
